How to Do If the Customized Packaging is Damaged After Receiving It

As a comprehensive industrial and trading company with 24 years of manufacturing experience and 15 years of foreign trade experience, it’s not uncommon for customers to receive damaged packaging.

If you’ve ordered custom packaging from Qingdao Yilucai Packaging Co., Ltd. and encounter damage that renders some products unusable, please don’t panic or get angry. We will proactively provide solutions to minimize losses and ensure your products are delivered on time.

First of all, how do we package your boxes /bags /cards /tags /paper etc.?

Unless otherwise specified, we typically use double-layer corrugated boxes, combining B and E corrugated sheets. The thickness of the boxes is approximately 8mm. This thickness is relatively thick and sturdy, making it more resistant to drops. Furthermore, to meet ocean shipping requirements and ensure ease of handling, we limit the weight of each box to under 22kg.

Secondly, we will also place bubble pads around the inside of the box to provide cushioning, anti-fall and product protection. If your product is small or not resistant to wear and tear, we will also put wrapping paper on each layer to avoid friction between the boxes as much as possible.

After these two steps, there will basically be no problem with your packages. If you have very high requirements for product packaging, you can also ask us to individually bag each box or bag for protection.

Finally, when sealing the box, we will use tape to seal every gap and even wrap every corner of the box with tape. Alternatively, we also can wrap the box with transparent stretch film to ensure that the box will not get damp or soaked in liquids during long-distance transportation.

If there is any damage, please contact us immediately and we will provide you with three solutions.

When you receive the packages and find that there are any damaged ones, please take photos of the damaged appearance of the packages and keep them for record, then open each box and count the number of damaged boxes/bags/cards/tags/paper etc..

If you need this packaging urgently, we will re-produce and ship it for you immediately.

Customers are not required to bear this cost. We will contact the freight forwarder and file a claim with them. The compensation will be used to produce your product. We will compensate for as many units as are damaged. The premise of this solution is that the number of damaged items is small and the intact boxes can support your current use.

If you don’t need it urgently, we can make up the quantity for you in your next order.

If you trust us enough, or the current boxes are enough for you to use for a while, or you are already an old customer of us, this is the best solution for both you and us. You will not suffer any loss, and we can also reduce the loss and arrange the order production reasonably. In a cooperative relationship, we always adhere to the principle of win-win. While ensuring the interests of our customers, we try to minimize unexpected losses. We provide customers with the best solutions instead of shirking responsibilities.

If you do not wish to work with us again, we can offer a partial refund.

This is the worst-case scenario. You won’t receive the product you expected, and we won’t be able to resolve the issue. However, if the product isn’t completely damaged, we’ll compensate you for the damaged portion. We also hope you’ll keep the intact box.

We do not expect compensation or re-work. We will do our best to pack the goods and avoid damage during the violent transportation.
